Professional Interests
I am passionate about supporting diverse youth and families from traditionally underserved populations. My specialties include working with youth with anxiety, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and disruptive behavior disorders. I completed my dissertation on trauma-informed care and have a strong interest in supporting children and families who have experienced trauma and/or grief. I understand the power of positive relationships and strive to build connections with my clients as I support them on their growth journeys. I primarily take cognitive behavioral and person-centered approaches to therapy, and enjoy incorporating elements of play therapy and mindfulness into my practice. When working with clients, my goals are to help them recognize their strengths, achieve their personal goals, and improve their overall functioning and health.
More About Me
I am originally from Brooklyn, New York and moved to Houston in 2017. I enjoy traveling, yoga, dancing, spending time out in nature, and trying new restaurants.
