Dr. Moore is the founder of Moore Mental Health & Behavioral Services, PLLC. She has worked in the mental health field for the past 16 years within a variety of settings. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range emotional and behavior disorders.
My passion is to help depressed and anxious individuals to alleviate their pain and distress. My primary theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavior Therapy that is infused with spiritual principles. I believe good health is not specific to our physical bodies. It is just as important to be mentally, spiritually and emotionally well because each of these areas are interrelated.
I take a practical, problem-solving approach to addressing unhealthy thoughts and behaviors that typically lead to poor decision making, self-destructive behaviors, poor relationships, and low self-esteem. My goal is to help you feel better in a short period of time within a safe and caring environment.
More about me:
I enjoy spending time with my family and my three dogs. I’m a devoted Christian and attend weekly church services. In addition, I’m an avid animal advocate and donate monthly to different organizations. Also, a portion of Moore Mental Health & Behavioral Services, PLLC proceeds are donated to at least 2-3 shelters or animal rescues monthly.
I feel very committed to helping others thrive and meet their life goals. The more others meet their goals, the more inspired I feel in my own life.
I literally knew in Kindergarten that I would spend my life helping others when I was selected for our Hall of Fame and was asked the infamous question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” In that moment, I felt my desire to be in the healthcare field. That desire has only grown stronger every year since then.
